Protocols and Curfew Extended Until May

The COVID-19 Prevention and Control Order has been extended until May 16th 2021.

The continuation of the State of Emergency will see a restriction on social activities which includes a ban on mass crowd event, competitive or high contact sporting activity, including in-door and out-door training and local competitions.

There is still a ban on social events (beach parties, picnics, river limes(party), birthday celebration, retirement celebration) with the exception of activities with ten people or less of an immediate family with no loud music. Day and Night-time boat excursions for crewed yacht charters and family boaters with prior notice of the excursion plan before the journey is also on the exempted list.

The order makes provisions to allow athlete training in a one on one setting, controlled gym training, and daily religious ceremonies however, marriages, baptisms and funerals are prohibited if more than 50 people are in attendance.

The island will also continue to observe the weekly curfew of 9:00pm.
