St Lucian Part of GEC Panel for 2019

Michelle Samuel, Founder of SLUDTERA, and Head Organizer of Startup Huddle St. Lucia has been invited to sit on an international panel to discuss the topic “Building Communities Around the Entrepreneur”. Also sitting on the panel will be Asif Iqbal, Kim Lane and Yuval Yarden, to name a few. Some key points which will be discussed relate to what the entrepreneurial community is like in each panellist’s country or city, how the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) programmes have been implemented, and what impact they have had.

The session will take place on Wednesday, April 17th 2019. During the session, participants will learn about the power of entrepreneurial communities, and how to adopt and implement GEN programmes like Startup Huddle and Global Entrepreneurship Week. This will be a panel discussion with GEN community leaders around the world who have built communities around their entrepreneurs.

The session will take place as part of a global gathering of policymakers and entrepreneurs called the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC).

GEC 2019 will take place in Manama, Bahrain a thriving startup hub with more than 4,000 years of history as a commercial crossroads. GEC 2019 will be held on April 15-18, 2019.
