Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ronald Weekes, as a result of a vehicular accident which occurred about 4:55 p.m. on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Vigie Roundabout, Castries.
Ronald Weekes, a seventy-two year old (72), resident of Sunny Acres, Castries, was the sole occupant of an SUV, registration number PC 7625. He was conveyed to the Victoria Hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for a subsequent date. This was the eighth road fatality for the year 2019.
The Royal St. Lucia Police Force wishes to extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
