An abandoned bar next to the island’s main soft drink bottling factory in lower Morne Road went up in flames tonight according to reports.
Firefighters were pictured feverishly attempting to put out the blaze that had engulfed the once popular Cozy Corner bar.
Video footage and pictures of the blaze quickly spread throughout social media hot zones, Whatsapp and Facebook.
At this time there were no reports of injuries or loss of life. The uninhabited building had long been considered the dwelling place for the homeless.
