Cycling: 75-K Race Tomorrow

CYCLISTS from the various clubs around the island will compete in the Saint Lucia Cycling Associationā€™s annual 75-kilometre Road Race scheduled for tomorrow.

According to SLCA president, Cyril Mangal, the race will start at the Sol Gas Station in Bexon at 7:30 a.m., proceed to Ravine Poisson bridge and back towards Castries onto the Millennium Highway, turning at the roundabout near the Owen King-EU Hospital and back to Bexonā€™s Sol Gas Station, covering 25 kilometres. The cyclists will do this circuit three times.

Cyclists from Project Breakaway, Excellers Cycling Club, Dennery Rocketers and Mon Repos, along with a number of unattached riders, will be participating in this event.
