SMA Quality Awards Big Winners

SEVERAL local manufacturers were celebrated last Saturday evening when the St. Lucia Manufacturers Association (SMA) held its third biennial Quality Awards at Sandals Halcyon.

Awards were given out in eight categories with companies attaining various levels of competence, namely gold, platinum and diamond.

The list of winners in each category is as follows:

A special award was also presented to co-owner of Lubeco (1991) Ltd., Stephanie Allain, for over 25 years of service as a woman in leadership.

The SMA Quality Awards were first held in 2012 and seek to recognize local manufacturers who persistently work towards improving business practices and competitive standards in the sector.
