They came from all walks of life and from all over the island….the more than 40 recipients of Order of St. Lucia and Public Services Long Services Awards announced for this year’s Independence celebrations.
The list included the first three persons to receive St Lucia knighthoods. The others received the St Lucia Cross and Medals of Honour and Medals of Merit in Gold and Silver and Les Piton Medals in Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Then there were the National Service awards and Public Services Long Service Awards. Our picture shows several of the honorees at their Investiture at Government House over the weekend.
