AT the end of the 2016 Independence KIA Tennis Tournament, the journey continues with the Ladies Open Champion Meggan William getting some help from Northwest Limited and KIA.
Williams a student at the Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School, William defeated Ayisha Emile 6-2; 7-5 to capture the Women’s Open Title at the just concluded KIA Independence Tennis Tournament.
For her outstanding play on Centre Court she was rewarded with a brand new Wilson Blade racquet from the Human Resources Manager of Northwest Limited, Larry Bain.
During the handing over which was held at the KIA showroom, Bain expressed his appreciation for young talent and in particular the level at which she. He congratulated her on her winnings and encouraged her to continue working hard in an effort to get to the top of the sport.
In thanking Northwest Limited for their support and continued assistance to the sport, William agreed with Bain, that with companies like Northwest Limited by her side she can reach the top.
William now moves from the 14 and under age group to the 18 and under category, a leap which she is confident will take her to new heights.
