THE Independence Netball Classic continues this evening with another double header at the Vigie Multi-Purpose Sports Complex weather permitting.

In Division Three from 4.00 p.m. N.V. Ballers plays SJC Egrets whileMabouya Valley will take on Avengers at 6.00 p.m. in a Division Two clash.

On Saturday two games were played in Mabouya Valley. In Division Three . Avengers led throughout 12 – 6; 20 -12; 26 -18 and final score 35 -24. For Avengers shooters Siana Jameson scored 33 from 42 attempts and Dasha Eugene netted 2 from 3 attempts. For Mabouya Valley, DayniaAurelien scored 8 from 14 attempts and MirkissaTheodule netted 16 from 27 attempts.

In Division Two – Desruisseaux defeated Mabouya Valley 42 – 36. For Desruisseaux shooters: Kimberley Charlery scored 38 – 48 attempts; Jo-Ann Anderson netted 3 from 8 attempts and Melissa Baptiste scored 1 from 1 attempt.ForMabouya Valley: SyndyAshdale scored 17 from 26 attempts and Alphia Matthew netted 19 from 29 attempts.

In Division Three played at the Vigie Multi-Purpose Sports Complex N. V. Ballers defeated Entrepot Secondary 37 – 14.

For N V Ballers: Niomi Raymond scored 13 -31 attempts; Juslene Joseph netted 18 from 32 and Janelle Mathurin scored 6 from 12 attempts.ForEntrepot shooters: Lian John scored 5 -17 attempts; Jessica Clarke netted 5 from 13 and Nalla Jules scored 4 from9 attempts.

On Monday Division One athletes were in action, with Dennery South, playing at home, making light work of their opponents St. Lucia Eagles 46 -17.

For Dennery South – Shem Maxwell led the scoring 29 from 35 attempts; Kaiser Sealy netted 7 from 19 attempts; TakieClersaint scored 2 from 5 and SerlanMathurin netted 8 from 11 attempts.

For Eagles shooters: Gaenelle Solomon scored 9 from 16 attempts; Crystal Morille netted 2 from 5 attempts; Matheline Walter scored 3 from 10 and KirsanshaPoleon netted 3 from 5 attempts.
