THE Landingâs last Thursday treated Food & Nutrition students of the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School, Corinth Secondary School and Gros Islet Secondary School to a special tour of its culinary facilities. Students also received a food preparation training tutorial in the Palms Restaurant presented by Sous Chef Jean Mark Charlemagne and Chef Emmerly Gerald with the tour culminating at the Turquoise Beach Bar & Restaurant for lunch.

St. Lucians Charged With Murder In Dominica
ROSEAU, Dominica, Jan 16, CMC â Dominica police have charged four people, including two St. Lucian nationals, with the murder of a Dominican man, whose body was found in a precipice, west of here on January 5. Police said that the body of Chris Blanc, a Dominican national who resided in Antigua, was found in the heights of St. Joseph, a west coast village, three days after he was reported missing.

ILO: Jobless Rate To Rise This Year

The ILO has released its World Employment Social Outlook, indicating that global unemployment levels and rates are expected to remain high in the short term, as the global labour force continues to grow.
