The Technical Director of the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc, Cyril Ces Podd continues to engage its stakeholders with a view of enhancing their overall development.
To this end, Podd endeavours to share information in the first instance with the first and second division clubs technical staff on matters that can create a new mindset for them as they deal with club projects and programmes.
With that in mind, it was felt necessary to have the national team Head Coach, Jamaal Shabazz make a Zoom presentation on the subject – Preparing players for international duty. It is the belief that such knowledge can incrementally help to educate their technical administrators as well as the players.
This it is hoped will greatly help the players transition from district players to national players much more quickly and help them cope better as they transition.
Head Coach, Jamaal Shabaaz will lead the presentation and has agreed to do the session today (Wednesday 16th September) from 6.30 pm. It is anticipated that the session will last for 90 minutes.
Cognizant of the fact that continuous development is the key to success, the Association hopes to undertake such presentations on a regular basis and most probably monthly.
The Zoom meeting is scheduled to target the following
First and Second Division Clubs
Technical Directors and Head Coaches of the 19 Football Leagues
National Team Coaches and SLFA Staff
All told it is expected that approximately 80 persons will be targeted.
