Business house Frank B Armstrong Ltd Distributors and Wholesalers located along the Bexon Highway in Odsan was last night (Saturday) gutted in a fire.
Fire officials confirmed to thevoiceslu.com that they were informed about “fire and smoke” coming from the building late last night and were steady extinguishing the fire from 12:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Three fire trucks were dispatched to the spot, one of them having to make trips to a near by business place for water replenishing purposes.
Curious onlookers lamented on the financial loss that is yet to be calculated.

F.B. Armstrong employed approximately thirty workers and has been a staple in the Saint Lucia retail industry for fifty-five years.

No casualties have been reported thus far.
