PRESS RELEASE – THE Saint Lucia Labour Party Youth Organisation has taken issue with the “shut-up” statement made to the press by Chair of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College Joycelyn Fletcher.
The Saint Lucia Labour Party Youth Organisation views this outburst by Ms Fletcher as unbecoming, particularly coming from the leader of the islands leading educational institution where many young people receive post-secondary school education.
The Saint Lucia Labour Party Youth Organisation is worried that coming soon after the Prime Minister’s ‘generous’ statements regarding the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College the chairperson of that institution is displaying uncouth and uncharacteristic behaviour towards a young reporter.
The Saint Lucia Labour Party Youth Organisation is calling on the UWP government to re-consider the recent appointment of Joycelyn Fletcher as chair of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. (SLPYO)
