Junior Achievement St. Lucia announces the addition of Taiwanese volunteer, Ms. Yi-Ann Chen to its team. Chen graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor in International Business and officially began her one-year attachment on October 17, 2016.
In welcoming her to the team, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Christian Husbands, expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Mr. Ray Hua-wei Mou, saying, “We at the Chamber are very grateful for the collaboration that have been established between the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce and your government and the assignment of the volunteer will be invaluable to Junior Achievement and, by extension, the youth being served.”
Chen has always been interested in youth development and NGO work and is excited about
working with Junior Achievement St. Lucia, saying, “I am happy to see the cooperation between my country and St. Lucia in the field of youth development and civil activities. I look forward to providing assistance in carrying out JA’s mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy as well as experience St. Lucian culture.”
