THE atmosphere at the Indoor Practice Facility will be charged tomorrow evening for what has been dubbed the “Home Sweet Home” round in the 2016 Commercial Futsal League when the round of 16 gets under the way.
Following a two day break the action resumes with the knockout stage at the BIPF. From 6:30 p.m. St.Lucia Distillers plays Peter and Company Distribution /Grace, then Windjammer plays Sandals Halcyon at 7:25 p.m. and Ministry of Infrastructure meets Sandals Grande at 8:20 p.m.
On Thursday, two games are on the card – from 7:25 p.m. Teachers Union plays Ark Teleservices and LIME / FLOW group go up against 1st National Bank.
The following day from 6:30 p.m. Caribbean Metals play LUCELEC, SLASPA plays Peter and Company Distribution / Mackeson at 7:25 p.m. and Lazy Lagoon takes on Sandals La Toc at 8:20 p.m.
On Friday evening a total of 19 goals were scored in the three matches played. Sandals Halcyon defeated Treasure Bay Casino 6 – 1, SLASPA had the better of Sandals Grande 6 – 2 and in the final encounter on the evening- Bank of Nova Scotia and M&C Drugstore played to a 2 – 2 draw.
On Saturday evening in the final round of the preliminary stage. -Teachers Union defeated Sandals La Toc 4 – 2. Lazy Lagoon -VSV had the better of Renwick and Company 6 – 2, and Ark Teleservices breezed past Inland Revenue Department 4 – 0.
