St. Lucia To Defend U-15 Cricket Title

SAINT LUCIA will start its defence of its title in the WINLOTT INC. WICBC Under – 15 Tournament that bowls off today in Dominica. The defending champions will play St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Windsor Park Test venue in Roseau, while host Dominica will play Grenada at Benjamin Park in Portsmouth.

The Saint Lucia squad reads – Simeon Gerson, Garvin Serieux, AkeemAuguste, Zidane Arthur, Dominic Auguste, TyrelChicot, Keagan Arnold, Jaden Elibox, Lee Solomon, Mateo Boulogne, Tristan Norbal, Zephaniah Edwin and KervelProspere.

In Dominica, team Saint Lucia will be under the watchful eyes of head coach Alton Crafton and David Oliver, Manager.

This competition is being played in a double round-robin format, so each team plays the other twice.

The Dominica and Grenada teams will be accommodated in Portsmouth, while the St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia teams will be in Roseau.

All teams have undergone intense training in preparation for this tournament and are ready to perform at their best as they seek to gain selection on the Windward Islands Under – 15 team which will participate in the Regional tournament in Grenada from July 24 to August 4.
