What if one contribution could help a child remain in school, bring lifesaving medical care within reach or give a family hope during its most difficult moment? On Sunday, November 29, 2026, the National Community Foundation (NCF) is inviting Saint Lucia and the wider world to turn compassion into action at its 18th National Telethon, under the call to stand together for the people and communities who need us most.
Livestreaming from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm on NTN, DBS, Choice TV, HTS and other major social media platforms, the annual national telethon will bring together individuals, businesses, community organisations, public-sector partners and Saint Lucians at home and abroad in a collective effort to strengthen the Foundation’s ability to respond to urgent social needs.
For more than two decades, the NCF has stood alongside individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, helping to bridge the gap between need and opportunity. Through its education scholarship programme, medical assistance, emergency support and community initiatives, the Foundation has worked to ensure that financial hardship does not automatically mean the loss of hope, opportunity or dignity.
Behind every request for assistance is a person, a family or a community seeking a chance to move forward. It may be a student who needs books, uniforms or school fees to continue their education. It may be an individual requiring urgent medical intervention. It may be an elderly person, a person with a disability, or a young person at risk who needs support to live with greater security and dignity.
The National Telethon is an opportunity for every Saint Lucian to be part of the response.
The NCF is appealing to corporate Saint Lucia, private-sector partners, community groups, churches, schools, civil society organisations, the wider public and the Saint Lucian diaspora to support this year’s telethon. Contributions of every size can help the Foundation extend its reach and respond to more requests for assistance.
Businesses and organisations are encouraged to participate through financial contributions, sponsorships and other forms of support. Individuals can also make a meaningful difference by pledging, donating, sharing the telethon’s message and encouraging others to contribute.
There are several ways to give:
– Direct deposit to the National Community Foundation via its bank accounts: BOSL Account Number 104511121 or 1st National Bank Account number 8405087 -Cheque contributions made payable to The National Community Foundation.

As the countdown to November 29 begins, the Foundation is reminding Saint Lucians that building a more caring society is a shared responsibility. A donation may seem small to the person giving it, but to someone facing a medical crisis, struggling to keep a child in school or trying to rebuild after hardship, that contribution can represent something much greater: a lifeline, a renewed opportunity and the reassurance that they are not alone.
