The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will host its September Executive Luncheon on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Harbour Club, featuring the Minister for External Affairs and International Trade.
Under the theme “Global Change, Local Impact: What Saint Lucian Businesses Need to Know about Trade and International Relations,” the luncheon will provide an important opportunity for business leaders and public sector officials to hear directly from Government on a rapidly changing global environment.
Discussions are expected to address shifting trade policies, geopolitical tensions, changing international alliances, shipping and logistics challenges, visa and mobility arrangements, market access, investment prospects, and their implications for national economic, business, and tourism competitiveness.
Business leaders will be keen to hear what these changes mean for Saint Lucia, what Government is doing to protect national interests, where new opportunities may emerge, and how businesses can better position themselves. The question-and-answer session will provide an opportunity to seek clarification on specific concerns and encourage stronger public-private collaboration in building economic resilience and sustainable growth.
