Saint Lucia has been crowned the World’s Leading Honeymoon Destination for the eighth consecutive time, solidifying its position as a premier destination for romance and travel.
The accolade was revealed on Saturday at the grand final gala in Bahrain at the World Travel Awards.
The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, are widely regarded as the most prestigious accolades in the global travel and tourism industry. They celebrate excellence across all sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries, recognising destinations, hotels, resorts, airlines, and tour operators that set the standard for service, quality, and innovation. Winning a World Travel Award is considered a mark of excellence and an endorsement by the global travel community.

Saint Lucia also received several other distinguished accolades in 2025, including Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination (17 times) Gold Travvy Awards for Best Honeymoon Destination and Best Wedding Destination.
