.

On Friday, 31st October 2025, officers of the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit, with tactical support from the Special Services Unit, conducted a joint anti-crime operation in the Odsan community. The operation commenced around 4:00 a.m. and focused on the execution of two search warrants in the area. During the first search, conducted at dwelling occupied by Vivian D’Auvergne and Devon Stanio, officers recovered quantities of crack cocaine, cannabis, and cannabis resin. Three individuals were arrested at that residence — D’Auvergne, Stanio, and Marva Dorville — all for multiple drug offences, including possession of controlled substances and possession with intent to supply. D’Auvergne was further arrested on behalf of the Choiseul Police for serious firearm-related offences, namely Using a Firearm with Intent, Possession of Firearm and Discharging a Firearm in a public Place which occurred on 12th July 2025 in Victoria, Choiseul.

A second warrant was executed at another residence within Odsan, where officers discovered and seized one Taurus G2 nine-millimetre semi-automatic pistol and ten rounds of 9mm ammunition. As a result, three occupants — Kenan Fergus, Richie Glasgow, and Brianna Pierrelouis — were arrested for possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition. All evidence seized during the operation was properly processed and stored, and all six individuals were taken into police custody and processed at the Centralized Community Safety Centre.

This operation successfully removed a wanted individual from the streets, recovered illegal drugs intended for distribution, and seized a firearm believed to be associated with serious criminal activity. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force {RSLPF} views this as a significant disruption to illicit operations in the Odsan area, and investigations into all related matters remain ongoing.

In a separate operation led by the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit GNFU} in collaboration with the Customs and Excise Department, a major drug interdiction occurred at Shed 7, Port Castries. On Thursday, 29th October 2025, Kermisha Florent of La Croix arrived at the port to clear a shipment. The box was opened in her presence, resulting in the discovery of six packages of suspected cannabis concealed inside. The drugs weighed approximately 5.38 kilograms, with an estimated street value of $161,000 Eastern Caribbean Dollars. Florent was immediately arrested, informed of her rights, and transported to the Centralized Community Safety Centre pending continued investigation.

Following the completion of investigations, all seven arrested persons including the six from Odsan and the individual from Port Castries, were brought before the First District Court on Monday, 3rd November 2025, for bail proceedings. The individuals facing drug trafficking charges, namely Devon Stanio, Vivian D’Auvergne, and Marva Dorville, were each granted bail in the amount of $11,000 Eastern Caribbean Dollars cash or suitable surety and are scheduled to reappear in court on 11th December 2025.
