Today, athletes who qualified are competing in the finals of the 2025 CAC Fit Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, driven by their ambition to claim various prestigious titles.

On Friday, competitors showcased their strength in the semi-finals, with the best moving on to the grand finale set for today.
This esteemed two-day event is taking place at the Pavilion in Rodney Bay, where athletes are ready to display their physique and posing skills with confidence.
Over 250 athletes from around 25 countries across South and Central America and the Caribbean, including Saint Lucia, are fiercely vying for medals in their respective categories and striving for the overall Team Championships.

The Saint Lucia Bodybuilding Association (SLBA) has worked tirelessly to ensure the venue and logistics are perfectly aligned for this monumental event.
Edmund Sidonie from the SLBA communications unit confirms that the athletes have acclimatized well since arriving, benefiting from outstanding accommodation and hospitality at local hotels.
Esteemed officials, including the president of the World Bodybuilding Association and the CAC president, are present to witness the competition.
A high-level delegation meeting was convened on Friday afternoon, just before the preliminary rounds began at 1:00 p.m. After a break, the sessions resumed at 6:00 p.m.

Judges will select six to ten athletes from each category to advance to the finals, which commence today at 6:00 p.m.
The athletes have undergone rigorous training under the expert guidance of coach Shakira Dublin, a leading physique coaching specialist on the island.
“Team Saint Lucia boasts a mix of newcomers and seasoned competitors, all eager to compete for championship titles,” Dublin asserts.
The team, comprising approximately 15 athletes, has focused on three critical aspects: posing, physique, and composure.
Dublin emphasizes that through their training, the athletes have gained valuable knowledge that will propel them forward in their journey.
