The SLFA Inc. Senior Men’s Club Football competition delivered tough challenges and thrilling results on Wednesday. Chesters, Monchy, and Bays FC all secured victories.
At the Desruisseaux Playing Field, Chesters defeated Green Monsters 2 – 1, with Kervon Edward scoring a brace in the 50th and 70th minutes. Shadrick Flavius managed to pull one back for Green Monsters in the 72nd minute.
In another match, DCYO and Ti Rocher ended in a 1-1 draw, with Denilson Jones scoring early for DCYO in the 7th minute, while Earven Frederick equalized for Ti Rocher in the 48th minute.
At the Corinth Playing Field, Monchy secured a comfortable 2 – 0 victory over B 1 FC, thanks to goals from Aramis Gilbert and Troy Greenidge in the 16th and 42nd minutes, respectively.
Bays FC also dominated New Generations with a solid 2 – 0 win, powered by goals from Glen St. John and Nick Longville in the 43rd and 81st minutes.

On Tuesday, Faith United defeated CT Foundation 2 – 1 at the Soufriere Mini Stadium. Curtis Edward opened the scoring for CT Foundation in the 37th minute, but Faith United quickly responded with two goals: Mahvy Rismay equalized in the 50th minute, followed by Jardel Phillip sealing the victory in the 4th minute of added time.
In another match, Black Panthers asserted their dominance over Uptown Rebels with a commanding 2 – 0 victory, thanks to first-half goals from Eymani Butcher and Mc Arthur Louis in the 19th and 33rd minutes, respectively.
At the Corinth Playing Field, GMC secured a narrow 1 – 0 win against Lancers, driven by a goal from Raheem Lionel in the 61st minute.
Valley Soccer Academy (VSA) proved their resilience as they fought back to earn a dramatic 3-3 draw against Northern United.
After trailing 3 – 1 at halftime, VSA regrouped and leveled the match. Northern United’s Lyndon Constantine, Josiah Gabriel, and Nicholas Lawrence scored in quick succession in the 36th, 38th, and 39th minutes.
VSA responded with goals from Kalum Marius in the 15th minute and powerful strikes from Nakeem Joseph and Mervin St. Romain in the 58th and 77th minutes, ensuring they secured a hard-fought point.
At Desruisseaux, El Ninos delivered an impressive performance, defeating Ti Rocher 8-0. Donavan Jn. Baptiste scored twice in the 23rd and 34th minutes, while Keius Serieux added two more goals in the 53rd and 60th minutes. Kern Joseph, Quan Joseph, Denyll Jn. Baptiste and Davian Jetrum also found the net, scoring in the 12th, 16th, 45th, and the 1st minute of added time, respectively.
In another match, DCYO triumphed over Green Monsters with a score of 4-0. Goals were scored by Sherquille Williams in the 25th minute, Denilson Jones in the 32nd, Elijah Joseph in the 68th, and Nathaniel Fontenelle in the 75th minute.
At the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, Platinum FC faced off against Knights and won decisively, 6-1. The goals for Platinum FC were scored by Taj Constantine in the 3rd minute, Donavan Perpie in the 27th, Moses Henry in the 37th, Leslie Tal in the 47th, Saviola Elva in the 67th, and Jahlen Flavien in the 71st minute. Marlon St. Amiee scored Ti Rocher’s lone goal in the 20th minute.
In another match, Victory Eagles earned a 2-0 victory over Shamballa Shiloh, thanks to goals from Hosea Mathurin and Hakeem Harrow in the 18th and 21st minutes, respectively.
