On Monday, June 10, 2024, the Micoud Police Station initiated an investigation into a reported theft from a motor vehicle in Micoud. The swift response by officers led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect, fifty-two-year-old Johnson Alexander, also known as “Ti Lamb” of Anse Ger Micoud.
During the arrest, officers conducted a search on Johnson Alexander, recovering the stolen firearm and ammunition that had been previously reported missing. As a result, Johnson Alexander faces formal charges related to possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and theft.
Johnson Alexander appeared before the Magistrates’ Court seeking bail, which was granted under the following conditions:
- Possession of a Firearm: Bail set at twenty thousand dollars (XCD20,000.00).
- Possession of Ammunition: Bail set at fifteen thousand dollars (XCD15,000.00).
- Theft: Bail set at ten thousand dollars (XCD10,000.00).
In lieu of cash, Johnson Alexander may provide suitable surety or land documents to secure his release.
