La Clery maintains an advantageous lead atop the St. Lucia Football Association Inc. Island Super Cup, as matches continued, this week.
In a match played at the Dennery Playing Field on Monday, La Clery solidified their position at the top of the leaderboard with a 3 -1 victory over Vieux Fort North.
Scoring for the Castries sub-urban team were Uhann Degazon from the penalty spot in the 7th min, Jonathan Alienne in the 21st min, and Andrus Remy in the 55th min. Devon O’Brian scored for Vieux Fort North in the 23rd min.
Meanwhile, four matches were scheduled to be played in the Island Premier Cup, on Tuesday, at the Dennery Playing Facility, featuring; Babonneau vs. Roseau Valley, and Vieux Fort South vs. Canaries.
And at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort; Central Castries vs. Mabouya Valley, and Marchand vs. Dennery.
Meanwhile, in other football updates, the Choiseul Football League will be concluding its 2021 Under-14 Boys Championships with its semifinals scheduled for Sunday, March, 27 at the Piaye Playing Field.
On schedule, will be Black Eagles vs. Somos Jouvenes at 12.00 noon, and at 2.00p.pm. StreetBallers vs. Ebony.
The grand finals is scheduled for Sunday, April, 3 at the same venue.
