Workplace Incident at the Halls of Justice Project Site

NH International (Caribbean) Ltd has confirmed that early yesterday an incident occurred at the Saint Lucia Halls of Justice Project site involving a member of their team who was on the crane.

NH Inetrnational, in a release, says “we are relieved to report that our colleague was safely brought down from the crane by the Saint Lucia Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services. He was conscious and speaking throughout the extraction and has since been transported to a private medical facility for further assessment and care.” NH senior personnel were reportedly with the distressed employee to provide continued support. Updates indicate that he is in good spirits and responding positively to treatment. Early indications, according to NH International, are reassuring, and there is currently no expectation of long-term impairment.

NH International has recognized the swift, skilled response of the first responders, whose professionalism allowed the rescue to be completed safely. The onsite NH team also provided immediate assistance and critical support while emergency personnel carried out the operation.

NH has launched an investigation into the events leading to the incident, which will inform a full review in accordance with our established safety procedures.
