Today (Saturday), the SLFA Inc. Under 10 District League Knockout competition launches at the Grass Field of the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery.
Six teams will compete in a dynamic seven-a-side format with unlimited substitutions allowed.
The participating teams are: Canaries, Desruisseaux, Gros Islet, Mabouya Valley, Marchand, and Vieux Fort South.
All preliminary round matches will be played today according to the following schedule:
– (1) 10:00 am: Mabouya Valley vs. Canaries, followed by Canaries vs. Marchand.
– (2) 11:10 am: Desruisseaux vs. Gros Islet.
– (3) 12:00 pm: Winner of match 1 vs. winner of match 3, and the winner of match 2 vs. the best overall loser.
The Finals and Third Place playoff will take place on Saturday, December 13, at the same venue.
