Investors and stakeholders gathered at the Harbor Club, Rodney Bay, on Friday for a dynamic session showcasing the achievements of the UTC Global Balanced Fund Limited (GBFL) enterprise.

The themed session, “Unlocking Value,” highlighted the fund’s impressive growth since its launch in Saint Lucia in 2023. This sub-regional financial agency has navigated economic challenges with remarkable success, expanding its clientele impressively.

Tricia Henry, UTC’s Regional Investment Advisor, emphasised the significance of the event, stating, “Today is a celebration of our performance, transparency, and accomplishments.”

She added, “As we reflect on the inaugural year of the UTC Global Balanced Fund Limited, we will share key insights and outline our strategic outlook for the future.”

UTC GBFL Chairman Brent Ford stressed the importance of establishing and strengthening relationships with clients.

“Whether you are a current investor or exploring this opportunity for the first time, your presence here is invaluable,” he asserted.

Ford highlighted the event’s purpose: to discuss “the value, vision, and, most importantly, our partnership.”

He reinforced, “We are committed to transparency and good governance while exploring investment opportunities. At UTC GBFL, we assert that investing is a powerful form of empowerment—it enables families and institutions to secure their financial futures.”

Since its launch in 2023, the UTC GBFL initiative has expanded to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and, most recently, Grenada, with plans to reach other sub-regional states.

“Our mission is to unite Caribbean investors across languages, cultures, and islands,” he declared.

Ford added, “We are demonstrating that the Caribbean can create and manage its capital effectively, offering proven products that respect our cultural and economic contexts.”

Emphasising the benefits of UTC GBFL, Ford stated, “We are laying a solid foundation for future growth and unwavering confidence.”

UTC’s Director, Nigel Edwards, declared that this initiative is a “dynamic and ever-evolving reality.”

He asserted that UTC GBFL empowers the Caribbean to invest confidently, build wealth consistently, and share in global opportunities collectively.

Highlighting UTC’s 40 years of exemplary service as a reputable regional brand, he noted that this new initiative is an “evolution of a model” that has already yielded substantial monetary gains.

In an exciting development, Edwards revealed that UTC has become the sponsor of the defending champions, the St. Lucia Kings, at this year’s CPL T20 tournament. With Daren Sammy serving as both Brand Ambassador for UTC and head coach of the Kings, this partnership is a natural fit, he declared.

He concluded by stating that the fund represents a “mindset shift” and generates wealth through “prudent financial practices.”
