Saint Lucia Set for Round Two of World Cup Qualifiers

Saint Lucia’s national senior men’s football team is all set to take on the challenge of the second round of the Concacaf FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The squad will first face host nation Curaçao today, Friday, June 6, followed by a pivotal matchup against Barbados on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Originally scheduled to play the Barbados fixture at home at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG), the match was relocated due to a scheduling conflict with the ongoing West Indies “A” versus South Africa “A” cricket series. Despite the change of venue, the team remains fully focused and eager to make their presence felt on the regional stage.

The Saint Lucian squad is a blend of seasoned professionals and promising local talent making their international debuts. The players selected for this crucial phase are:
