The stage is set for the highly anticipated Groovy & Power Soca Monarch Semifinals, as 20 Groovy Soca and 20 Power Soca entries have officially advanced to the next phase of the 2025 competition. This exciting third stage will take place on Saturday, June 27, at the National Cultural Centre Grounds.
To earn their place in the semifinals, artistes were required to deliver live performances of the 80 qualifying song submissions before a panel of judges on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8. These performances determined which artistes would move forward in the competition.
The March 27th event is expected to attract a bumper crowd. The semifinal is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the general public.
