For the third consecutive year, the Daren Sammy Foundation (DSF) is launching its Annual Scholarship Program in collaboration with Republic Bank EC through its PMAD programme.
This initiative seeks to recognise and reward exceptional students who exhibit unwavering dedication, hard work, and a strong passion for sports.
The DSF Scholarship is specifically designed to empower aspiring athletes by providing the essential resources needed for academic and athletic excellence.
Selected recipients will receive a generous scholarship to cover related expenses for the upcoming 2025/26 school year.
To be considered for the DSF Scholarship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Achieve a passing grade of 75% and above
- Be a citizen of Saint Lucia
- Be between the ages of 10 and 17
- Be enrolled in a primary or secondary school
- Actively participate in a school sports team, community, or local league as an aspiring athlete
- Come from low-income families
It is essential to understand that all criteria must be fully satisfied to be awarded the DSF Scholarship. Only eligible applicants will be acknowledged and considered for this prestigious opportunity. Interested candidates can obtain scholarship applications from primary and secondary schools, as well as at Republic Bank branches in Castries and Vieux Fort.
Completed application forms and supporting documents must be submitted electronically via email to darensammyfoundation@gmail.com or dropped off at Republic Bank branches in Castries or Vieux Fort.
The deadline for submitting completed applications, along with copies of the last three (3) report cards, is July 31, 2025. The selection process will be rigorous, ensuring that only the most deserving candidates are selected for this life-changing opportunity.
