RSLPF Initiates Probe into Triple Homicide in Chopin, Castries

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries received an initial report on Wednes-day, April 30, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., indicating that three individuals had sustained firearm wounds in Chopin, Castries. The scene of the incident was promptly visited by officers from the CID, the Special Services Unit (SSU), and the Marigot Police Station.

Officers encountered two males, who were unresponsive and had sustained firearm wounds, upon their arrival. Twenty-eight-year-old Jesse Charles and thirty-six-year-old Servelus Bernard, both of Chopin, Castries, were identified as the victims. They were discovered along the road, a short dis-tance from the surrounding area, and were subsequently transported to OKEU Hospital, where a medical professional pronounced them dead.

Additionally, two individuals were reported to have sustained firearm wounds and had been trans-ported to The Owen King European Union Hospital. Emon Charles, a forty-five year-old resident of Chopin, Castries, passed away at the hospital as a result of his injuries, according to additional information. One more individual is still in critical condition.
