The Silver Shadow Performing Arts Academy will tonight present “Dust in the Wind,” an awe-inspiring evening of dance theatre in honour of Saint Lucia’s Nobel Laureate celebrations.

The evening of artistry, inspiration, and cultural pride will showcase the brilliance of the island’s Nobel Laureates through the magic of dance! The event will take place on at 8 PM at the National Cultural Center. The event promises to an unforgettable experience for dance and theatre enthusiasts alike.

“Dust in the Wind” explores themes of legacy, transformation, and the passage of time, paying tribute to Saint Lucia’s rich cultural heritage and the indelible contributions of Nobel Laureates Sir Derek Walcott and Sir Arthur Lewis. Through a mesmerizing blend of contemporary and classical dance, the production will seek to evoke deep emotions and inspire reflection on our collective journey.

Artistic Director and Choreographer Barry George brings his signature visionary approach to this year’s production, featuring a talented ensemble of dancers.

“Dust in the Wind’ is more than just a performance; it is a journey through time, memory, and legacy. Through dance, we aim to honour the brilliance of our Nobel Laureates while inspiring audiences to reflect on their paths.
