Ravens retained their championship title in the annual Little Sisters in Netball Tournament which was played last weekend.

A total of three teams participated in the 2nd annual.

Little Sisters in Netball Tournament on Sunday August 27.

The featured teams in the competition included Ravens, Blue Lightning, and Queen Bees all vying for the championship trophy. The teams played in a round-robin format, and the top two teams advanced to the finals.

Defending champions Ravens faced off against Queen Bees in the finals, and after the final whistle blew, Ravens successfully defended their title.

At the post-match awards presentation, the following individuals were recognized:

Kevlin Fostin of Ravens for Most Improved Player

Aliah Francis of Blue Lightning for Most Improved Player

Roshantaii Theodore of Queen Bees for Most Improved Player

Sherise Joseph of Ravens for Most Valuable Player

Rhea Jn Philip of Queen Bees for Most Valuable Player

Melanie George of Blue Lightning for Most Valuable Player

Sherise Joseph of Ravens for Best Attacking Player

Rhea Jn Philip of Queen Bees for Best Defending Player

–  Kiana Joseph for Best Shooter

In addition, Ms. Sharon Moses, a founding member who initiated the game of netball in the community and also coached the Jacques team was recognized and presented with a small financial contribution and token of appreciation.
