On Friday, March 31, 2023, about 4:00 a.m. Officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department, Castries, Gros Islet Patrol Team, Special Services Unit, Bicycle Patrol Unit, Central Intelligence Unit, Marigot, Anse La Raye and Canaries Police Stations and Officers attached to the Regional Security System, conducted an operation in La Caye, Dennery.
During the Operation a Search Warrant was executed on the premises of Jermaine Aurulien of Lemeiere, Dennery. Officers recovered one Glock 17 pistol and 27 rounds of 9mm Ammunition. Jermaine Aurulien was arrested along with Zenny John a female of La Caye, Dennery. They were both charged for the Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
Jermaine Aurulien has been granted bail for the Unlawful Possession of Firearm in the sum of $30,000, Possession of Ammunition, $20,000 and other bail conditions set by the Court. Zenny John has been granted bail for Unlawful Possession of Firearm in the sum of $10,000 and Possession of Ammunition in the sum $15,000 and other bail conditions set by the Court.
