PRESS RELEASE — On Thursday 20 April, 2023 about 6:30 p.m. Officers attached to Criminal Investigations Department received a report of Robbery at Morne Fortune, Castries. On arrival on the scene Officers were informed that the victim was transported to a medical facility via ambulance.
Officers were also informed that one (1) .357 Revolver firearm with six (6) rounds of ammunition was stolen from the victim.
On Saturday, April 22, 2023 eighteen (18) year-old Jaleni Reynold of Pavee, Castries was arrested in relation to the robbery at Morne Fortune on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He has been subsequently charged for Robbery, Grievous Harm, Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of Firearm.
Jaleni Reynold was escorted to the First District Court, Castries on Monday, April 24, 2023, where bail was denied. He was remanded in custody.
