GINYSC Hosts Youth Business Mixer “Money and Mimosas”

In commemoration of Saint Lucia’s Youth Month & the Commonwealth’s Year of the Youth, the Gros Islet North Youth and Sports Council (GINYSC) will be hosting a Youth Business Mixer entitled “Money and Mimosas”.

The mixer is scheduled to take place on April 22 at the Gros Islet Human Resource Development Centre from 5:00 pm.

According to the organizers, the mixer is intended to engage young entrepreneurs in business-oriented discussion by means of presentations and a panel discussion. “Money and Mimosas will allow for young business minds to network with other youth in business and gain insight on the business sector from prominent businessmen in Saint Lucia,” stated a GINYSC spokesperson. “Therefore, expanding youth business knowledge and providing a space for active learning.”

Money and Mimosas’s participants will gain the opportunity to hear from: Sir Michael Chastanet of Consolidated Foods, Mr. Rayneau Gajadhar of Rayneau and Co., Mr. Dustan DuBoulay of DuBoulay Industries and Mr. Pinkley Francis of IBS Saint Lucia.

The mixer will also host other side events and attractions.

Said the GINYSC Deputy Chairperson, Raejean R. L. Montoute, “ The Gros Islet North Youth and Sports Council is excited to be hosting the activity as part of Saint Lucia’s Youth Month and the Commonwealth’s Year of the Youth and to be working with some of Saint Lucia’s leading business figures and young aspiring youth entrepreneurs.”

The event is sponsored by the Member of Parliament (MP)  for Gros Islet Kenson Casimir, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Chelsie Laforce,  Alvin Malaykhan, Hired Caribbean, Sol Gas Station – Gros Islet Subway, Digicel, Blue Lotus Spa, and  Excel Signs.
