SLUDTERA (a private social enterprise and entrepreneurship support organization) hosted the graduation ceremony and dinner of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs St. Lucia Class of 2022, under the theme “I Am Empowered, Blessed and Highly Favoured.”
The event took place on Thursday February 2nd at the Finance Administrative Centre in a semi-formal, round table setting. This is the very first in-person graduation ceremony hosted for the graduates of the programme.
In the past, hosting of mass crowd events was hampered due to COVID-19 and so the ceremonies took place via Zoom. At Thursday evening’s graduation ceremony, forty AWEsome professional St Lucian women were recognized and celebrated on an international level as the event is held in partnership with the U.S. Embassy of Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean and the OECS.
The graduating class received certificates of completion and special awards and prizes.
