On Wednesday, the teams met at the SLFA Technical Facility, Grand Riviere, for the grand finals. Ultimately, after a 2-all draw at regulation time, SMC beat SLSA 5-3 in the ensuing penalty shoot-out. Reports state that “it was an epic and memorable finals.”

Earlier, SLSA took the lead through Traylan Henry in the 38th minute but SMC hit back with the equalizer on the stroke of half-time with Aanarje Theodore scoring in the 45th minute.

SLSA again pushed ahead with a goal from Adriano Auguste in the 52nd minute, but the SMC lads would not let up and stomped back for Shervon King to net a decisive goal in the 56th min.
