The Institute of Surveyors (St Lucia) Inc. takes pleasure to congratulate and announce that Mrs. Giselle-Hull Casimir has successfully completed and attained the designation of Chartered Valuation Surveyor from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The RICS, a leading international body in the property and valuation sector, has granted Mrs. Casimir Full fledge membership, designating her the title (MRICS).
Giselle started her journey in surveying as a surveying draughtsman at the Land and Surveys Department in her home country of Saint Vincent. She later graduated from the College of Arts Science and Technology in 1994 and was awarded a diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying.
In the year 2000, Giselle joined the St. Lucia Government Service as a Valuation Surveyor at the Inland Revenue Department, where she served for twenty years before taking up her current position as the Chief Valuation Surveyor at the Ministry of Physical Development and Urban Renewal.
Over the years she has pursued several continuous development programs including an appraisal course at the International Center for Land Policy and Training in Taiwan. Giselle is married with two beautiful daughters, and thanks her support team, family and friends who assisted her on this journey.
The Institute of Surveyors (St. Lucia) Inc. welcomes Giselle as the first female professional valuation surveyor to attain this designation in Saint Lucia, and wishes her continued success in her endeavours.
