The festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., will showcase various ways in which the popular fruit can be used to prepare dishes and other food products. There will also be a mango eating competition, and mango plants will be on sale.

On Saturday, June 25, the Farmer’s Market moves to Dennery South, in observance of Fishermen’s Feast. Residents of the east coast fishing community will get the chance to showcase their locally-grown produce that will be on sale.

The Farmer’s Market is fast becoming a staple event for many communities across Saint Lucia, especially for the spin-offs it generates. It’s a great networking event, and also promotes crop diversity, agro-processing, high-efficiency production model, and strengthens the market system. – Embassy of the Republic of China(Taiwan) in Saint Lucia.
