
Moderate rainfall expected over Saint Lucia during the next 72 hours is expected to raise the possibility of flooding in parts of the island prone to those hazards.
Showers associated with a trough system are presently affecting the southern windward islands and is expected from today into Thursday, the chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms is possible.
Residents and motorists, especially those in areas prone to flooding are urged to be vigilant and exercise caution in their activities.
Residents are asked to pay attention to further announcements from the Saint Lucia Meteorological Services and NEMO.

The Saint Lucia Meteorological Services is monitoring the situation and will issue a flood warning for Saint Lucia if conditions warrant.
