Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association embarked on Medic Christmas Good Turn

In keeping with their commitment to giving back to the communities the members of the Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association have this year embarked on a “Medic Christmas Good Turn”.

“Living through the Covid-19 pandemic these past twenty-one months has been challenging for all of us, perhaps more acutely our underprivileged brothers and sisters. It is with this in mind that we aim to bring some much-needed cheer this holiday season,” the SLMDA said.

Throughout the month of December, hampers will be delivered to various locations including the Special Education Centre and the Rainbow Children’s Home in Vieux- Fort and the Holy Family Children’s Home in Gros-Islet.

“We culminate this week with donations to the National Mental Wellness Centre and on Wednesday, December 22, our members will be at the Castries Constituency Council, providing meals to the poor and vulnerable and the Mother Theresa’s Home located at Hospital Road. In keeping with public health protocols service will be “Grab and Go.”

The SLMDA while wishing all a happy and safe Christmas and hope for a prosperous 2022, reminded citizens to be each other’s keepers while stressing that humility and compassion throughout the season.
