Worried about tomorrow, with no clear chart to follow!

What next? Who is next? Can we deal with it? These are the big questions today.

Every day we lose loved ones and friends dear to us and we hear horror stories that make us cringe.

In the past, it was all about finding a job, now it is all about whether you will lose your job. You heard in the past of people wanting to go abroad, searching for a new start, looking for a safe environment or a progressive climate, but it seems the crisis we face is everywhere.

The Government has its hands tied, because the people’s needs are plenty and their wants are many. Some who are without will do anything to get, even steal if they feel they have to, plunder and kill if they feel they must, most doing anything they consider necessary for their survival.

The state apparatus never seems to change, your bills mount up by the day with every transaction and there is no one to help or give assistance.

As the saying goes, we are all in the same boat: this society has become a Jungle and it is only the fittest that seem to survive.

Many have lost hope, our lifestyle is under threat, freedom is now curtailed by the state and safety has become of great concern. Nobody knows the answers, the planners of development are frozen in their paths, there is not enough to go around and the little left is usually pilfered.

Some parents’ hands are tied, they have to serve at home and still go out and find. The bank accounts we all once had are getting smaller and replacement funds are low.

We pray and hope, we gamble and take chances, we try this and that, but still there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The whole world is in turmoil, the answers are not readily available and the breakdown in Law and Order only makes things worse.

We are all panicking, worried about tomorrow, with no clear chart to follow and the various views are confusing. Where we turn to is a big question, and who has the answers is a bigger question, and how we assure a brighter tomorrow when there seems to be no guarantees is an even bigger question. So, for now, let’s stay focused, go with the flow and keep hoping that this madness will subside.

If we need to chart a new course, change our way of living and begin to see life differently, so be it. It is all about staying alive, dealing with whatsoever comes our way, trying never to give up, because, believe it or not, all our troubles were made by Man and Woman – by us humans. We brought it all on ourselves and now we are paying the cost with a very high price.

That’s why so many of us are worried about tomorrow, with no clear chart to follow…
