The Castries South constituency has been called for the incumbent Dr. Ernest Hilaire.
Securing 3064 votes, Hilaire staved off competition from National Green Party’s Raffaele Cantoni (32) and the United Workers Party’s Bertrand Birch Johannes (1635).
Hilaire, a former Saint Lucia’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom will continue to represent Castries South constituency in the House of Assembly for the Saint Lucia Labour Party.
