In an effort to win the battle against COVID-19, the Government of Saint Lucia and the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force are looking for a few good men and women to join their ranks, albeit temporary.
The clarion call was made in a Facebook post on the official page of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. “In an effort to better manage adherence to the COVID-19 protocols, wardens will be employed and posted throughout Saint Lucia. As such, interested parties are asked to submit applications, to include any academic or professional qualifications, to the office of the Commissioner of Police, on or before Monday, November 16, 2020,” the post read.
All applications will be accepted by the Sentry at the Commissioner’s Office located on Bridge Street, Castries. However, consideration will be given only to persons who are medically fit and possess a clean certificate of character.
Applicants who have been selected will be notified via telephone of the next phase of the process.
The posted ended with informing the successful applicant that wardens would be assigned to various locations on the island and will be responsible for assisting with the enforcement of all established protocols relating to the mitigation of the spread of COVID-19.
