Wins For Millet and Bexon in SCCA T20 Cricket

The South Castries Cricket Association (SCCA) National Lotteries Authority T20 competition continued over the weekend with wins for Millet and Bexon Oval Super Stars (BOSS).

On Saturday 20th, at the Mindoo Phillip Park, Millet defeated the SCCA Under 19s by 4 wickets.

Batting first, SCCA U19 recovered from 21 for 5 to post 106 in their allotted 20 overs.

For SCCA, Noelle Leo top scored with 38 and Dillan John 22 were the main contributors with the bat.

For Millet the chief wicket takers were Bradly Giddings who picked up 3 for 7 and Xavier Gabriel bagged 3 for 8.

Needing 107 for victory, Millet lost six wickets in the process, with Anderson Charles hitting the top score of 33.

Bowling for SCCA U19, Jayden Elibox bagged 3 for 19

On Sunday also at the Mindoo Phillip Park, Bexon Oval Super Stars (BOSS) defeated Crusaders by 5 wickets.

Batting first, Crusaders made 112 for the loss of 7 wickets with Dino Osmond top scoring with 25, Marv Cyril 23, ErnelSexius 22.

Bowling for BOSS, Danil Augustin and Jayden Elibox picked up 2 wickets each.

Requiring 113 for victory, BOSS reached their target for the loss of 5 wickets with OreyChangoo 32, while Nixon Edmund chipped in with 19 not out.

Bowling for Crusaders, Eldridge Charles took 2 for 34 and 1 wicket each to ErnelSexius, Kirby Alfred and Bryan Calixte.

Matches continue today, (Tuesday 23rd July): John Eugene Academy takes on Crusaders either at the Mindoo Phillip Park/Gros Islet Playing Field; On Wednesday 24th/Thursday 25th – Millet plays Forestiere from 4.30 p.m; and Friday 26th, John Eugene Academy versus Bexon Oval Super Stars (BOSS) either at the Mindoo Phillip Park/ Gros Islet Playing Field.

Confirmation of the venue will be announced by the SCCA.
