THE Sports Academy (St. Lucia) will be hosting a series of fundraising activities in the month of December to raise funds to support a yearly performance based sports camp for the youth.
The month starts off with a cake Sale at the JQ Mall, Rodney Bay, on Saturday, December 1st 2018 from 9:00am. There will also be a yard sale on Saturday, December 8th 2018 at Angels Delight & OLEANDA opposite the Gros Islet Fire Station. There will also be a beach barbeque on Thursday, December 13th 2018 on Reduit Beach.
The funds raised will help the Sport Academy realise some of its sporting initiatives for 2019 and will go a long way to helping the youth of Saint Lucia – and truly experience ‘’Sports for All’.
The Sports Academy (St. Lucia) is a non-profit Charitable Trust since 2013.
Under the motto “Sports for all” the academy encourages the development of sports for young people, setting standards in providing excellence in multiple areas beginning with swimming, golf, tennis and martial arts.
The Academy works towards removing the socio-economic barriers that limit young people’s participation in sporting activities; including, the traditionally viewed “elite” sports.
