ON Thursday April 19th, the St. Lucia Industrial and Small Business Association, in collaboration with the St. Lucia Fisherfolk Cooperative Society Ltd, hosted a one-day workshop for fishermen and women at the Conference Room of the Department of Fisheries in Castries.
The workshop, entitled “Inspiring Safety and Business Competence in the Fishing Sector”, aims to address critical areas of focus which result in more successful fishermen and women and less tragic incidents.
The workshop was the first in a series to be continued in other communities.
