The Saint Lucia National Trust’s (SLNT) Annual Youth for Conservation Retreat is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Caribbean Cinemas from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The day’s highlight is the viewing of the informative and thought-provoking documentary, Who Are You?, a film that delves into every aspect of Saint Lucia’s heritage, following which participants will engage in an interactive discourse.

The SLNT encourages participation of youths between 11 – 35 years from all across the island. The event is free but one must register at http://tinyurl.com/zukcv26. Transportation and lunch will be provided at no cost to registered participants.

According to SLNT Communications and Advocacy Officer, Karetta Crooks Charles, “The Trust hopes that events such as these would engender a sense of national pride in our young people and inspire them to take their roles as stewards of our heritage more seriously.”

This film is a must-see for all who appreciate the island’s culture or desire to learn more about it. The Trust is therefore also providing this opportunity free of charge to the general public interested in viewing the film. Please register by emailing [email protected] by April 6, 2017.
