The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in partnership with the Government of Trinidad and Tobago will on Wednesday, November 2 hold a high level Caribbean Forum in Port of Spain.
The one-day conference will be held under the theme, “Shifting Tides: Challenges and Opportunities”, and will focus on unique issues affecting the Caribbean.
Prime Minister Allen Chastanet will participate in three sessions at the conference, namely a forum on Global and Regional Challenges, Spillovers from Cuba, and Policies to Address De-risking.
In the Prime Minister’s absence, Dr. Gale T. C. Rigobert, Minister for Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development, will serve as Acting Prime Minister.
